Our goal is to partner with the schools as an ancillary educational facility. Besides museum
tours, educational programs have included:

Working with Teen Outreach at Savannah High School R-III High School. In 1999-2000, students
created a new Museum exhibit on the Spanish American War, highlighting Andrew County's involvement.

Providing traveling exhibits as teaching resources. In April 1999, over 500 students visited a
temporary science exhibit at the Museum.

Involving 3rd- and 4th-grade teachers in the development of the new exhibit and experience plan
for the Museum.
